Ice Dyeing with Becky
Ice dyeing is a fun and surprising way to create unique fabrics. In this two-day class, participants will learn different ways of manipulating fabric prior to applying high quality, fiber reactive dyes. Students will then take home the prepared pieces and apply ice. They will return with their initial dyed fabrics (and cleaned equipment!) the next day and pick up additional pointers that will set you on the road to creating your own unique fabrics.
Much of the equipment you need for this class is provided, as are an appropriate face mask, six fat quarters, and the necessary dyes.
Supply list:
* Household gloves, like for dishwashing
* Clothes that you don't mind possibly getting permanently dyed
* A large new trash bag
* A Sharpie pen
